IT Support Engineer

Trustbend Packers & Movers is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting both internal systems and end-users. Key Responsibilities:

• Incident & Service Requests: Provide support for IT incidents and service requests related to software, hardware, network, and other IT-related issues.
• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT problems efficiently. Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or other specialized teams when necessary.
• System Maintenance & Monitoring: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades for IT systems and applications. Ensure system performance is optimized and operational at all times.
• Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and support the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment, focusing on user administration, security, compliance, and application support.
• Cloud Management: Utilize the Microsoft Azure portal for managing cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security configurations.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, configurations, and solutions. Share knowledge and solutions within the team to ensure smooth operations.
• End-User Support & Training: Provide technical assistance to end-users, offering guidance and training on IT systems and applications.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless IT operations and continuity.
• IT Projects: Participate in IT-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Contribute to planning and execution for successful project delivery.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that all IT systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and security best practices. Proactively identify and address potential security risks.

Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or D365 ERP are advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in an L2 support role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems and experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with networking principles and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
