Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT support environments, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and modern cloud technologies. This role requires a proactive professional with strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a customer-focused mindset. Applicants with a valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 technical support to resolve escalated issues from Level 1 support.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related incidents.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Azure services (VMs, AD, Intune, O365, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance).
  • Manage endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) including configuration, patching, and security compliance.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access management.
  • Collaborate with Level 3 / infrastructure teams on escalated issues and project rollouts.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices (MFA, endpoint security, vulnerability management).
  • Provide remote and onsite support to end-users across offices and client sites.
  • Document solutions, update knowledge base, and follow ITIL-based service desk practices.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure projects including cloud migrations, hybrid setups, and automation initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in IT Support (Level 2 or similar role).
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure (VMs, AAD, Intune, Security & Compliance)
  • Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
  • Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Switching, Wi-Fi)
  • Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, or equivalent)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current IT trends such as:
  • Cloud-first infrastructure
  • Zero Trust security models
  • AI-powered IT support tools
  • Automation & scripting (PowerShell preferred)
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Valid driving license and access to a personal car (preferred).
