Zahr Freighters is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our dedicated team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and providing efficient IT support to ensure seamless business operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
• Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, and security systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related incidents in a timely manner
• Assist employees with system access, password resets, and software usage
• Ensure data backup and system security through proper protocols
• Document IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance records
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment and solutions
• Support the implementation of new IT projects and upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and MS Office tools
• Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Knowledge of data backup, antivirus, and cybersecurity measures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
