Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Officer to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of systems, networks, hardware, and software, while providing technical support and maintaining data security.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain company IT systems, servers, and networks
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, printers, and peripherals
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff (hardware, software, network issues)
• Ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures are in place
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements when required
• Maintain and update IT documentation, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and ISP partners
• Ensure compliance with company IT standards and UAE regulations
• Manage user access, email systems, antivirus, and firewall security
• Support ERP, accounting, or business software as required

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Server & Desktop OS
• Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls)
• Hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance
• Experience with data backup, cybersecurity, and access control
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working in the UAE
