As an IT Officer at Rentokil Initial, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure and providing support to our staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via IT tickets, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support Windows, Chrome OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and common business applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Create and manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 or external vendors as required.
• Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
• Monitor IT inventory, including hardware and accessories.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes for staff by preparing IT assets and accounts.
• Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and data security standards.
• Act as a liaison between the IT department, vendors, and other internal departments.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in IT support / IT coordination roles.
• Understanding of networking basics, Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and general IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and vendor coordination.
• Good knowledge of IT support ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English is required.
