Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all IT-related functions across the organization, including systems maintenance, technical support, infrastructure development, cybersecurity, and strategic technology planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with the executive team to align IT strategies with business objectives and ensure the smooth operation of all technology-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan & Coordinate IT Activities: Develop and implement IT protocols, support system upgrades, and align technology plans with company goals.
• Provide Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; manage installations and configurations.
• Ensure IT Security: Maintain antivirus, firewall, and VPN configurations; oversee system and data protection.
• Lead IT Strategy & Development: Create IT policies and strategies; manage projects; adopt emerging technologies like cloud computing and AI.
• Train & Guide Staff: Improve operational efficiency through training and process enhancement.
• Forecast IT Needs: Collaborate with leadership to anticipate future IT requirements and support business growth.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of IT and business strategy alignment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, VPNs, cloud computing, and system configurations
• Strong project and portfolio management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience with data analysis, AI/ML, and software development
• Crisis and time management capabilities
• Ability to lead and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, IT Management, or Computer Science (preferred)
• Certifications in cybersecurity, networking, or cloud computing (a plus)
