IT Engineer
Job Description
The IT Engineer will oversee all aspects of our IT systems including hardware, networking, and software solutions. They will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day tech operations as well as leading the implementation of new digital tools to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc.)
- Oversee and maintain network infrastructure including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Manage existing software licensing and lead the implementation of new ERP systems.
- Ensure data security, backups, and recovery plans are in place and regularly tested
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related purchases and support
- Provide tech support to internal teams, including training when necessary
- Monitor and improve IT system performance across all departments
- Document IT processes, systems, and policies for internal use
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a mid-sized organization
- Solid understanding of hardware maintenance and network management
- Experience in implementing or managing business software tools (e.g., ERP, CRM)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
