Job Description

The IT Assistant Engineer will play a key role in supporting the company’s IT infrastructure across its real estate operations. The successful candidate will bring a solid foundation in networking, hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewall solutions, and a CCNA certification. With at least 3-5 years of experience in the real estate sector, this individual will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT services to support business operations, office connectivity, and property management systems.

Key Responsibilities Network & Security Management

– Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager).
– Maintain and secure LAN, WAN, VPN, and VLAN infrastructures across multiple office and property locations.
– Monitor and respond to network performance and security incidents.
– Implement and enforce IT security policies, firewall rules, and access controls.

IT Operations & Support

– Provide end-user support to staff, brokers, and property teams, resolving IT and network-related issues promptly.
– Support real estate applications such as property management systems, CRM, and ERP tools.
– Conduct system updates, patch management, and routine IT maintenance.
– Assist with IT asset management, including hardware, software, and licensing.

Real Estate IT Integration

– Ensure IT systems and connectivity are in place for new branch offices or properties.
– Collaborate with property and facility management teams to align IT solutions with real estate operational needs.
– Document IT infrastructure, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science working experience in the real estate industry.
– Hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewall technologies.
– Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, and VPNs.
– Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or Google Workspace.
– Ability to manage IT operations across multi-site, distributed office environments.
– Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Preferred Experience

– Exposure to network monitoring and IT management tools.
– Understanding of real estate IT workflows and business-critical applications.
– Experience in IT support for high-demand, fast-paced business environments.
