Job Description

The Job Holder will be responsible to Oversee IT requirements of SNTTA Travel & SNTTA Cargo. Assess/Support software systems/needs according to requirements provided by the management and other departments. Maintain company hardware /software application systems and Support Database(s), oversee computer systems and websites, and troubleshoot whenever necessary.

  • Support eTravel/Travea, Navision, Flotilla, Oracle, AWS, GDS and other software used by SNTTA group.
  • Maintaining in-house applications & websites
  • To maintain high uptime for all servers by updating new patches, update virus and spyware protection and daily backups of data.
  • Maintain and control GDS logins, web airline & other online logins for staff
  • Troubleshoot LANI\WAN for Rolla, Dhaid, Emirates GSA office, SHJ Airport Cargo & OCI
  • Administrate & support on premise & servers in OCI
  • Support PABX, Attendance & UPS systems for Rolla, Dhaid, EK GSA, SHJ Airport Cargo offices
  • Oversee external connectivity with GDS, Payment & SMS gateways and other service provides
  • Research opportunities to provide IT support to improve overall business
  • Setup IT procedures, educate end-users on IT Policies and Document the overall IT setup
  • To be involved in evaluation and purchase of new hardware/software products and in the planning, selection of vendor and implementation of IT projects.
  • Upgrade software systems as per the requirements, coordinate and train users and participate in the implementation of new software/hardware in conjunction with senior managers/ software/hardware vendors.
  • Responsible and fully aware of the terms and conditions of the Service/Licensee/Franchise Agreements between Sharjah National Travel & Tourist Agency LLC (or its subsidiaries) with the parties involved.
  • Comply with all Company’s Policies , manual and Procedures

Requirements

Education: Diploma (Required)

Experience:

  • Travel and Tourism: 3 years (Required)
  • IT: 3 years (Required)

Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
