Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description
Quality Point IT Consultancy is a fast-growing technology consulting firm delivering cutting-edge ERP, IT infrastructure, and business solutions across the GCC region. We are currently looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to join our technical support team.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and mailboxes in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups as needed.
- Support end-users with network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN).
- Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and hardware replacements.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and user access records.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Basic understanding of hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP).
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (M365, Windows), or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
