We are seeking a mid level IT Support Engineer to join our team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of handling day to day customer requirements, working on key projects with support team, managing AMC accounts, attend to daily support & new project requirements of pre sales/post sales/installations/opening support tickets for OEM’s,handle on premise/cloud or hybrid infra requirements from clients, reporting to Pre Sales Head working alongside with other IT support, projects & sales team. Your technical expertise and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues will be fundamental in providing excellent customer service and maintaining client satisfaction. Manage upto L2 level of technical expertise & scale up expertise level.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT infra requirements such as servers, storage, switches, routers, firewall and infrastructure security, server room and data center, and telecommunication, cabling, wireless, UPS, workstations clients/laptops/PC’s and software, cybersecurity products & solutions.
  • Provide technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT infrastructure projects.
  • Perform regular security updates and patches to protect systems against vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in any of new, renewals, hardware refresh, AMC IT projects planning and optimization along with Pre-Sales Head.
  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of IT assets under AMC contracts & day to day installation/support issues.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and customers to understand their requirements and provide appropriate recommendations & solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Generate detailed service reports and documentation for each service visit.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in industry
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of PS activities, including spare parts usage and inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address customer concerns, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Travel to customer sites within the UAE as required.
  • 6-8 years of proven experience as IT support Engineer preferably with a Dell/ Hpe System Integrator, Solution provider,reseller background.
  • Currently working on IT support domain with hands on implementation experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, Enterprise Storage,Data Management, Networking, Software, power management domains.
  • Hands on technical experience with Dell Technologies, Hpe, Fortinet, Sophos,Microsoft,Synology,Qnapp,APC,Eaton,Lenovo, HP, Veritas, Veeam, Vmware, Avaya,Dlink,Tplink, Symantec,Trend Micro, Kaspersky vendor solutions.
  • Strong Communication Skills (Both – written & verbal).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive mindset and passion for continuous learning in the field of IT.

Salary: 6000.00 – 6500.00 AED
