Job Description
Al Tawheed Government Services seeking a experienced highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team. If you have a passion for technology and a knack for solving complex problems, we want to hear from you!
Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 2 years experience in any Government Transaction Centre ie TASHEEL/AMER with a similar position can apply. Previous experience in an Amer Centre would be an added advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining the Centre IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across the organization.
- Implementing and monitoring security protocols to protect company data and systems.
- Oversee system upgrades, installations, and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintaining an inventory of all hardware and software, ensuring timely updates and replacements.
- Administering the government based Portal, website, Email system, Firewall as well as the SPAM and web filter.
- Assisting Administration and Senior Academic staff with the smooth running of the centre administration system, including the export of data and the creation and modification of reports.
- Establishing and maintaining systems to monitor network traffic, resolving bottlenecks and enhancing network throughput and resolve faults.
- Assisting the Staff and Learning Technologies with the planning of future network additions and alterations.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices to improve the company’s IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network and server management, including experience with cloud services.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and common enterprise software applications.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Relevant Experience in Amer/Tasheel Centre would be an added advantage.
- Excellent Pay will be provided as per the right candidature.
