What you will be doing?

  • Checking the Backup status every morning and resolving the issues with backup.
  • Checking the Server alerts and resolving it.
  • Checking the Desktop alerts and resolving it
  • Creating the Documentation for the configuration of Servers, Network, APs, Switches and PABX.
  • Periodically verifying the configurations of servers, network, WIfi, Switches and pabx are maintained as per the document, if found to be changed then co-ordinate with Team and update accordingly.
  • Restoring the backup periodically and check if it works.
  • Checking and approving the patches for servers and desktops.
  • Checking and creating monitoring policy for the critical services based on each customer environment.
  • Creating automated scripts for the RMM automation, like restarting the services when it stops and automating the routine tasks.
  • Receiving the chat requests from customers and providing the support.
  • Receiving the calls from customers and providing the support.
  • Receiving the support ticket from queue and providing support.
  • Checking and responding to all emails and tickets.
  • Verifying with the field engineers on the completion of assigned tasks.

What do you need?

  • Positive, polite and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills to understand and explain the technical problems reported by non-technical users.
  • Should be able to learn and get trained to move on to next level.
  • Should be mentally strong to handle situations and work under pressure.
  • Must have understandings and should be able to demonstrate on the below,• Different types of Networks and its practical usage scenarios.
  • Knowledge on common end user’s software in SMB segment.
  • DHCP, DNS, AD, File server, NAS, Gateway, Firewall, Cloud services, Office 365,
  • Latest threats and best practices to protect.
  • Backup and importance of backup
  • Should have excellent troubleshooting knowledge on windows 7/ 8/ 10, Network printers, Scanners, Enterprise wireless access points, Enterprise AV.
  • ITIL / ITSM processes and procedures.

Knowledge on the above-mentioned skills, ability to work with minimal training as well as team, positive attitude and willing to learn.

Experience: IT Support: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification: UAE Driving License (Preferred)
