Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal users within the organization. You will diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems and help install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure and equipment. Your role will ensure that technology-related issues are addressed promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications, networking, and hardware.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
• Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
• Manage and maintain IT inventory and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues or escalate when necessary.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Train end-users on new technologies or software applications as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5-year work experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and networking.
• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
