The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to the organization’s employees for computer systems, software, hardware, and network-related issues. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical problems, configuring hardware and software, and assisting with IT-related projects to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users via various channels (phone, email, in-person).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and connectivity problems.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and devices.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, actions taken, and solutions provided.
- Assist in user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and access management.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and patches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of designing, Photoshop, etc would be advantageous.
- Candidates with valid UAE driving license would be preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s (Required)
License/Certification: UAE driving license (Preferred)
