Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining our organization’s computer systems, hardware, and software. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, enabling employees to work efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-line support for all technical issues, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
- Network Administration: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Software Management: Install and update software applications, ensuring all systems are running the latest versions and security patches.
- User Assistance: Respond to IT support requests from employees, providing guidance on using software, hardware, and other IT-related resources.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and support requests. Document technical processes and procedures for future reference.
- Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. This includes updating antivirus software and monitoring system security.
- Backup Management: Ensure regular backups of critical data are performed and verify that restore processes are functioning correctly.
- Inventory Management: Manage and track IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
