Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT desktop engineer/Assistant to join our IT team. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles, hardware & software and troubleshooting techniques. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Manager to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our office and branch locations.

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware peripherals. Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems as needed.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications. Assist users with software-related issues, including installation, configuration, and usage.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts as per company policies. Manage access permissions and password resets.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, software licenses, and technical procedures to ensure efficient support and compliance with IT policies.
• Promote IT security best practices among end-users and assist in implementing security measures, such as antivirus updates and system patches.
• Conduct training sessions or create documentation to help end-users better understand and use IT resources effectively.

Requirement

• Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role. Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
• Experience with network hardware and software
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Office location – Ajman, and Sharjah
