Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer L2 to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced support to our end-users, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across various locations. A valid driving license is mandatory, as the role requires travel to different sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for desktop hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems related to Windows, Mac OS, and Linux environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
  • Perform software upgrades, patch management, and system maintenance.
  • Assist in managing IT assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Ensure all IT issues are resolved in a timely manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Document issues, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex issues and implement new technologies.
  • Travel to various company sites as needed to provide onsite support.
  • Maintain and manage IT inventory and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role (2-4 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows, Mac OS, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license (mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Pay: AED6,000.00 – AED6,500.00 per month

Experience: Desktop Support: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: UAE (Preferred)
